Jimmys Grille in Bridgeville

Went with a group of people. The room was extremely hot like there was no air. Food was decent but when I went outside to cool off the waitress took my plate which still had 3/4 of my meal on it so I had to go get fastfood after we left

Just passing by and decided to stop. Good solid food. Fresh bread was fabulous. Meatloaf was great. Homemade Mac and cheese is sold by quart! All you can eat salad bar has the usual but was really fresh. Family setting... Noisy and well worn, but food was worth it.

Went to the buffet. I was very nice. They had a verify of food to pick from.

I stop at Jimmy's Grill in Bridgeville at least once during every trip from DC area to Ocean City, MD. I love the fried chicken. My son today got a huge plate of fried clam strips, a full pound! Delicious. Friendly fast service in a comfortable diner setting.

Food was great had a party of 30, Shawna are waitress will swamp with us but I think they should have given her some help on taking out orders but other than that Shana did a great job wouldn't mind coming back again.

Great service, great food. We stop here yearly when traveling with our seniors group. I ordered the crab cakes this time. They were top notch! Service was great as well.

Stopped in for the first time. Had a good prime rib dinner. Service was very good as well as the prices. I will stop by again if I'm in the area..

Not as friendly as some but acceptable. Good diner/family style food. Impressive deserts. Looking forward to next visit.

Right now their own renovation. Can't wait for them to open. Hoping it will be a affordable like it used to be.

Have been coming to this restaurant when we return from our seashore home the last 20 + years with no complaints. Excellent food & my favorite is 2 piece dark chicken with greens & sweet potato casserole plus coconut cake. Simply delicious & service is great. The food was delicious, the coffee was better-than-expected, definitely service with a smile. In general it was a very pleasant experience and overall very good food. My only complaint would be where we sat there was a noticeable lack of air conditioning otherwise I was delighted

The food was really good, especially for the price point. The portions were large. We got to seat our selves, which was really easy. The staff greeted us quickly. The tools were so good! I would definitely come again.

We were hungry and on the road when we found this place. What a wonderful surprise.the breakfast tasted like it was home cooked. Though it wasn't crowded when we arrived, the crowds began pouring in not too much later. Apparently they were well known for the fried chicken. When we got there at 1030 the people around us wanted fried chicken. The restaurant did not serve it until 11 but they insisted on waiting.

Best meal I've had in long time. We will be back many times. The fried chicken and crab cakes were delicious. And the lemon meringue was best I've had.

First time there but definitely not my last. Good Homestyle Cooking and very clean. Handmade food.

Great stopping point on way to Delaware beaches. Friendly staff, good food and good prices. Coconut custerd pie was especially good.

Food continues to be GREAT!!! Jimmy's catered our wedding reception back on June 24th 2000, and we've been coming here to Bridgeville ever since. Very reasonably priced and love the expansion over the years. A definite must if you're in that area!!!

Nice spot . Nice people. Good food. Decent prices. Nice portions. Good ole country food if your in The mood. The building is a bit behind in maintenance but it is fitting.

Huge portions. However, BYOS: bring your own straw. They bake their own desserts to carry out. Always busy. Stopped on way home from Ocean City, Maryland.

Excellent food.

Huge menu that looked great. Baked items looked amazing. Ordered breakfast, chipped beef gravy was really good. Both my husband and I had home fries with our breakfasts and both orders were big chunky slices that were still crunchy and smothered in tons of butter. His eggs and bacon were good.

Orders pancakes and my mom ordered waffles, bacon, and grits. My pancakes were very good and the bacon was good. My mother didn't care too much for her waffle and refused to eat the grits because they were watery. She ended up eating some of my pancakes which were huge. Would recommend if heading to the beach just don't order the grits.

Jimmy's has delicious, home-style food. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is very casual. We always like to stop here on our way home from the beach.

Perfectly Roasted Prime Rib and Salad Bar ...Amazing Stuffed Fresh Flounder and Homemade Desserts to Die for.Very Reasonably Priced Menu and Excellent Service.First time visiting.. We will be returning.

I would give the food a five star. I have noticed a trend lately at 'family friendly' restaurants that if your just 'two' people, the hostess either ignores you (waiting for you to leave) or the service is just so, so. What is this ignorant trend? I don't deserve to eat out because they aren't going to get a mega tip? Next time my whole family comes to town I will go somewhere else! Tell your wait staff.

This place has been here as long as I can remember. There food is always good. The staff is friendly. They have baked good to go. It's a good place to eat and I will continue to go here.

Best food around! We had been there for breakfast last 4th of July. You can taste the freshness of everything and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We headed down again over Easter and were not disappointed. Dinner was delicious and the portions were very satisfying.

Fantastic portion sizes and excellent quality/freshness! My go to spot for business lunches when in the area!

Meal was very good, and so was the service. Granted, I ate here about 3 years ago, but I was very satisfied with my order. You should definitely come here if you stop in bridgeville.

We didn't dine in therefore this review is limited to my only experience with the restaurant, carryout catering. We ordered 2 large macaroni and cheese and 1 large potato salad for a party of approximatly 30 people. There was plenty of other food on hand, these were not the only menu items. That said, the dishes were large enough to not run out. Everyone liked the items and I personally went back for extra servings of mac n cheese. I would use their services again.

This place is excellent. They have great food at great service. They serve breakfast til 11 a.m. Mon.-Fri. and til 12p on Sat and Sun. A Bridgeville institution. Featured in the movie Mayor Cupcake.

Simple, down home, well prepared comfort food. Friendly servers. Good fried chicken, chicken salad, fried oysters , crab cakes, turkey dinner with all the trimmings, fried clams, cheesesteaks, love the salad bar, and all those yummy sides like mac and cheese, corn pudding, stewed tomatoes, cucumber salad, the best pickled beets ever... I could make a meal out of just the sides. But be sure to save room for one of Jimmy's awesome desserts. Cakes and pies to die for. My favorite is the coconut. Breakfast lunch dinner you can't go wrong. They do nice buffets for holidays like Mother's Day and Easter.

The food is delicious!!! I’ve eaten in their banquet hall and in the restaurant itself and both are great! If you go definitely try the fried chicken, it’s heavenly!

Typical greasy spoon diner style food. Tasted great, definitely calorie-rich so not for light eaters. Totally packed in summer for lunch so expect a lengthy stay.

Great Southern style cuisine with fabulous sides and pies. A must stopover to and from the beaches. I usually go for the Fried Chicken and Prime Rib.
